TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
